Happy Earth Day! In 1970, the largest single day protest in human history occurred, and that day is now celebrated every year as Earth Day. 51 years later, we are still fighting for a cleaner planet.  At #REMIXbyStevieLeigh we work everyday to divert unnecessary textile waste from heading to a landfill. By creating our one-of-a-kind wearable art garments, we save approximately 10-15lbs of fabric from being wasted! The fashion industry as a whole is one of the worst offenders in global pollution. Why NOT to buy cheap clothes

Clothing prices can be all over the place. What’s the difference between a $50 denim jacket and a $300 denim jacket? They’re both just denim fabric sewn together, right? Not exactly.   Although in basic terms, yes this statement is true, a denim jacket is denim fabric sewn together.
